«Utter Garbage»
I love NCIS, the characters developed and the actors can act, they have formed a great team and I cannot wait to get the new series, I watch them over and over. NCIS LOS ANGELES started well with the first pilot episode - I now realise that this was only because they had the original NCIS cast in the show - but from then on it went from bad to worse. No leader to make decisions, a manager who checks the wardrobe and a rapper who can not act, the team flounders and plot lines are so crazy and unbelievable with so many loose ends that it makes you think its all ad lib and does not even have a script. The mistakes they make are horrendous and you know the outcome from the first ten minutes. I bought the series expecting great things but all you get is brawn and no brain, shoot first - and always to kill so the bad guys can never answer questions - and mop up after. If you like a bit of action with guns etc you will love this, but if you want a bit more of a story with some good acting don't go there. YUK.

«Linda Hunt is the heart of the show.»
Academy Award winner Linda Hunt really makes the show different than NCIS (or any other investigation type show). Her role as the senior member of the team is as masterfully played as Mark Harmon's is to the original NCIS. Her calm command brings new meaning to the phrase, "The Roaring Silence".
